From Beach Retreat East and Beach Retreat West:
Approximately 50 steps from pool gate to Private Beach. (Private gated access.)
From The Grayt Escape:
Approximately 80 steps from door to Private Beach Access.
Exit the door, turn right on side walk, walk down 3 houses, cross street, gate access.
You have multiple access points for this property.
From Oasis and Blissful Retreat:
Exit driveway to the right. Walk approximately 3 minutes to Scenic Gulf Drive (about 2 1/2 blocks) your Beach Access is at Pompano Joe's.
All properties are equipped to handle in beds (sofa/sleepers) a designated amount of people. We do offer roll-away beds in the home for any 1-2 additional guest per home. We prefer not to have air mattresses in the home. Please request directly from Roxanna with Guest Services (601-504-0045) if you require extra sleeping arrangements.
Beach Retreat West - Sleeps 18 *in beds
Beach Retreat East - Sleeps 18 * in beds
The Grayt Escape - Sleeps 16* in beds with 1 sofa sleeper on 3rd floor.
Emerald Oasis - Sleeps 32* in beds. Sofas can be used to accommodate 4 additional.
Blissful Retreat - Sleeps 34* in beds. Sofas can be used to accommodate 4 additional.
Pool heat can be added to any property for a fee of $500 per pool.
You can purchase the pool heat PRIOR to day of arrival or you can contact Brandon McCarty at Guest Services (601-650-6568) and Purchase any time during your stay.
If you purchase pool heat BEFORE day of arrival, the pool should be heated by check in.
If you purchase pool heat after you arrival you will have a 5-6 hr wait while the pool heats up.
Please know if the pool equipment goes down, we can only refund what you paid. If you did not pay for pool heat, you will not be eligible for a refund.
You have full use of the hot tub during your stay. The hot tub heats to 98Ëš.
The hot tub runs on cycle and will cycle off after 2.5 hours. To continue heating just push the spa button and it will cycle back on.
Please be aware if the pool heater goes off, the spa will not heat. We cannot be responsible for mechanical error and since there was no fee for the use of the spa, we cannot refund should it not heat during your stay. We do our best to maintain all equipment to make your stay enjoyable.
Beach chair service is provided for a fee. You can purchase this service prior to arrive with our house rental or you can purchase it after you arrive. There is a link to the local beach service for Beach Retreat East & West at the top of the page. (La Dolce Vita) You must give them the address of 1505 Scenic Gulf Drive when calling for rental.
The Grayt Escape has a cabana inside the gated access where you can purchase your chair service. Please make sure you know your house name and address (1830) for this service.
Emerald Oasis and Blissful Retreat have the offer of beach chair service at the public cabana on the beach.
Each Chair service includes a choice of two beach chairs and a umbrella or larger set ups as needed. The chairs are set up daily on the beach at your location. The chairs are set up beginning on the day after you arrive and each morning of your stay by 9:00am UNLESS weather does not permit. If weather does not permit set up (Beach Patrol determines if the weather is not allowable) your set up will be done as soon as conditions improve. This is done through a 3rd party vendor and we cannot tell you if you will be refunded for inclement weather, you will need to discuss that during the rental process. Beach Chair service ends on your last full day at the property (ie: there is no beach chair set up on day of departure.)
Beach Retreat Properties is NOT responsible for weather conditions that do not allow for chair set up.
WE DO NOT ALLOW EARLY CHECK IN WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL.
We know everyone is excited about starting their beach stay. We are excited and want to get you in the property as soon as possible. Please remember the homes are large and we do need several hours in order to clean them after guests leave.
Check out is 10:00am. A noon check in is usually not feasible.
We do have excellent cleaning crews who do their best to meet our standards and get guests in as quickly as possible.
If you would like to request early check in please contact Guests Services prior to your check in to note your request. On the day of arrival you can call or text (601-504-0045 OR 601-650-6568) with an ETA and we can keep you apprised if early check in is possible.
IF YOU ARRIVE EARLY WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL YOU WILL NOT BE GIVEN ENTRY TO THE PROPERTY **EVEN TO JUST DROP OFF YOUR LUGGAGE, OR PARK AND GET IN THE POOL. The cleaning crew needs the time to do their job inside and outside.
If you arrive without confirmation from Guests Services the cleaning crew will ask you to leave and come back at your scheduled check in time.
We appreciate your understanding in this matter.
Each house has a hall closet that will include beach towels and one set of sheets for each size bed. Should there be an accident that causes you to need more sheets please check that closet. If you need more help, you can contact guest services.
Also, you will find an extra pillow and a blanket in each bedroom closet.
