HOW FAR IS IT TO THE BEACH?

From Beach Retreat East and Beach Retreat West:
Approximately 50 steps from door to Private Beach Walk Over.
From Beach Retreat South:  
From the Pool Door approximately 15 steps to Private Beach Walk Over.
From The Grayt Escape:
Approximately 80 steps from door to Private Beach Access.
You have multiple access points for this property.

Question 3

CAN WE BRING AIR MATTRESSES?

Accepted Answer

All properties are equiped to handle in beds (sofa/sleepers) a designated amount of people.  We do offer roll-away beds in the home for any 1-2 additional guest per home.  We prefer not to have air mattresses in the home.  Please request directly from Roxanna with Guest Services (601-504-0045) if you require extra sleeping arrangements.

Beach Retreat East  -  Sleeps 19 * in beds with 2 sofa sleepers on 2nd floor
Beach Retreat South - Sleeps 20 * in beds with 1 sofa sleeper on 2nd floor 
The Grayt Escape - Sleeps 19* in beds with 1 sofa sleeper on 1st, 2nd & 3rd floors

DO YOU HAVE A GRILL?

Question 5

IS POOL HEAT INCLUDED WITH THE RENTAL?

Accepted Answer

Pool heat can be added to any property for a fee of $300 per pool. 
You can purchase the pool heat PRIOR to day of arrival or you can contact Roxanna at Guest Services (601-504-0045) and Purchase any time during your stay.
If you purchase pool heat BEFORE day of arrival, the pool should be heated by check in.  
If you purchase pool heat after you arrival you will have a 5-6 hr wait while the pool heats up.

Question 6

IS THE HOT TUB INCLUDED WITH THE RENTAL?

Accepted Answer

You have full use of the hot tub during your stay.  The hot tub heats to 98˚. 
The hot tub runs on cycle and will cycle off after 4 hours.  To continue heating just push the spa button and it will cycle back on.

Question 7

IS BEACH CHAIR SERVICE INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL?

Beach chair service is provided for a fee. You can purchase this service prior to arrive with our house rental or you can purchase it after you arrive.  Please contact Roxanna with Guest Services to purchase Beach Chair service 601-504-0045.
 
Each Chair service includes two beach chairs and a umbrella set up daily on the beach at your location.  The chairs are set up beginning on the day you arrive and each morning of your stay by 9:00am UNLESS weather does not permit.  If weather does not permit set up (Beach Patrol determines if the weather is not allowable) your set up will be done as soon as conditions improve.  Beach Chair service ends on your last full day at the property (ie: there is no beach chair set up on day of departure.)
 
Beach Retreat Properties is NOT responsible for weather conditions that do not allow for chair set up.

Question 8

CAN WE GET EARLY CHECK IN?

WE DO NOT ALLOW EARLY CHECK IN WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL.
We know everyone is excited about starting their beach stay.  We are excited and want to get you in the property as soon as possible.  Please remember the homes are large and we do need several hours in order to clean them after guests leave. Check out is 10:00am.  You will NEVER be able to check in at noon, that is just not feasible.
We do have excellent cleaning crew who do their best to meet our standards and get guests in as quickly as possible.  If you would like to request early check in please contact Roxanna at Guests Services (601-504-0045) to note your request.  On the day of arrival you can call Roxanna with an ETA and she can keep you apprised if early check in is possible.
IF YOU ARRIVE EARLY WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL YOU WILL NOT BE GIVEN ENTRY TO THE PROPERTY **EVEN TO JUST DROP OFF YOUR LUGGAGE, OR PARK AND GET IN THE POOL.  The cleaning crew needs the time to do their job inside and outside.  
If you arrive without confirmation from Guests Services the cleaning crew will ask you to leave and come back at your scheduled check in time.

Question 9

WHERE CAN WE FIND EXTRA LINENS?

Accepted Answer

Each house has a hall closet that will include beach towels and one set of sheets for each size bed.  Should there be an accident that causes you to need more sheets please check the closet.
 
Also, you will find an extra pillow and a blanket in each bedroom closet.
